Hand & Skin Disinfectant – Skinfriendly disinfectant for hygienic cleaning!

Pjur has taken its responsibility and developed a highly effective disinfectant for skin and hands. It is free of alcohol, perfume and microplastics and provides a fast, safe and hygienic cleaning. Perfect when soap and water are not available.

The product is skinfriendly, pH neutral, vegan and does not dry out the skin like other disinfectants can do.

pH-neutral

Our skin has an average pH value of 5.5. This is an acidic value which protects the skin against environmental influences. Pjur’s disinfectant has a pH value of 7, which is completely neutral and the same as in water. This means that it does not affect your skin’s protective acid-mantle.

Alcoholfree

Many disinfectants contain alcohol. This can dry out our skin and damage the skin barrier, which in the long run can lead to wrinkles and aging of the skin. In addition, hands can become rough and cracked, making them more susceptible to bacteria and viruses. For this reason, Pjur’s disinfection contains no alcohol.

No microplastics

The abundance of plastic is something that not only affects the environment but also us humans. According to a study from the University of Newcastle in Australia, we ingest about 5 grams of microplastics via the air. It is not yet clear exactly how, and if, we can process this plastic. Therefore, Pjur has chosen to manufacture products without microplastics.

Vegan

Like many of Pjur’s other products, Pjur Disinfecant contains no ingredients derived from animals.

Instructions for use: To hygienically disinfect your hands, apply at least 3 ml of disinfectant to the dry palms. Rub your hands evenly for at least 30 seconds. Do not wash off afterwards.

It is manufactured in Germany and designed to meet the highest requirements for personal hygiene, registered in accordance with Germany’s regulation on the notification of biocides.
